These rules exist to protect the atmosphere and values of our kinship. They apply to all members across in-game, Discord, and any other spaces we share.
---
1. Respect Above All
Treat all players and kinmates with respect. No insults, harassment, slurs, or passive aggression.
Disagreements are fine; hostility is not. Keep debates civil.
No gossip, rumor-spreading, or discussing others behind their back — in or out of the kin.
---
2. No Drama, No Politics
Keep the kin free from real-world politics, religion, or controversial topics.
If a conflict arises, bring it to an officer privately. Public arguments are not acceptable.
Officers will handle issues quietly, fairly, and without public spectacle.
---
3. No Poaching or Recruitment in Kin
Members of other kinships are not to be recruited, directly or indirectly.
If someone chooses to leave another kin on their own, they are welcome, but do not solicit or pressure.
We grow by example — not persuasion.
---
4. Discord & Chat Conduct
Keep chat appropriate for all audiences. No excessive swearing, explicit jokes, or NSFW content.
Avoid spamming messages, pinging officers unnecessarily, or derailing conversations.
Use the correct channels for specific topics (game help, media, etc.).
---
5. Activity & Inactivity
Members inactive for 60 days without notice may be removed to keep rosters clear.
Long-term breaks are fine — just let an officer know so your spot is held.
Returning members are always welcome to rejoin.
---
6. Leadership & Structure
Officers serve to organize events, resolve disputes, and support the kin — not to command it.
Major kin decisions are discussed openly with the membership where appropriate.
Respect officer direction during events or official activities.
---
7. Event Conduct
Be on time and prepared if you sign up for an event or group activity.
Treat all participants with patience, especially those learning content for the first time.
Listen to the group lead and communicate if you need to step away.
---
8. External Conduct
Your behavior in public channels or game instances reflects on the kin. Represent us with the same courtesy you show inside our walls.
Harassment or toxic behavior outside the kinship is grounds for removal.
---
9. Rule Enforcement
Officers may issue warnings or removals for behavior that violates these rules.
Gross misconduct (harassment, slurs, griefing, etc.) results in immediate removal.
If you believe an officer acted unfairly, bring it to the Captain privately — not publicly.
---
10. Final Clause
This is a kinship built on trust, honesty, and mutual respect.
If you uphold these values, you’ll always have a place among the Silver Swan.
